- Nika, please share your impressions about the Buissup Hackathon in Syunik, about participants and their projects.

As you know, I led Buissup Hackathon in Kapan last summer, which was attended by over 50 young people from Syunik and Artsakh, 12 teams were represented, exactly half of which were from Artsakh. There were quite a few interesting ideas, not all of which, of course, corresponded to the concept of hackathons, but the enthusiasm, desire and ability of young people for self-development pleasantly surprised me. By the way, I accidently discover that students of the Kapan Polytechnic University are so prepared and ready to deliver additional value specifically for the Syunik region. Today, Syunik teams are also participating in Buissup Global Forum, offering investors their innovative solutions. Regardless of whether they reach the final stage or not, we have an important achievement which is the result of two days` hardwork in Syunik, and further till forum. Young people generated ideas and improved them by the help of professional mentors. Here, in Dilijan, they came with ready-made projects, which will be presented to investors on the final pitch.

- Tell us about Artsakh projects, how ambitious and promising they are in your opinion?

As for the Artsakh teams, we had a team that took the second place, and, unfortunately, did not make it to participate in Buissup Global Forum, but it was a rather interesting technological solution not only for creating and developing new values in Artsakh, but also for a more attractive presentation of Artsakh to the world. Another Artsakh project that will be presented today is a research center, the team has done a fairly serious study, and even if they do not become the winners of the forum, they have already won, since the proposed innovative technology solves not only the acute problem of cereals in Artsakh, but applicable also to the Republic of Armenia.” Note that the mentioned above project was recognized as one of the winners of the Buissup Global Forum 2022.
